.He likes looking at the pictures; skeletal animals in this case.
When this toy arrived the lolling head was no longer connected to its neck and I was lost with what to do to this one- that is, until I decided that a Sally Doll would readily hop into its skin.
Despite being fitted with a new head, it's still not quite fighting fit, although the mechanism still works. There's an issue with its shoulder joint and tinkering with it would require too much destruction to the original makeup, so I'm calling it a quirk.
As a result, this toy requires the sort of helping hand that I prefer isn't necessary, but since it's my favourite of this year's crop, it got a pass. That is, in order to turn the page, it has to be held up and tilted backwards at a slight angle to help its head flick up.
I don't know the age but its pinstripe dungarees are only barely holding on (and thank god, because they're excellent and it would have killed me to remove them)
