Pink-red jasper skull cameo necklace

The skull is the bone cherry on this slice of flesh and fat.

I was delighted when my stone supplier managed to find this lovely banded disc of jasper; half of it is a classic red jasper colour. The layer on top and threading vein-like through the red is a dusty blush/pink and together they appear inescapably meaty.

The carving is highlighted with high-gloss black enamel.

Set in silver on a belcher chain measuring 45cm.

This piece is completely one of a kind.
