Carving intaglio into the underside of a transparent quartz (rock crystal) cabochon is something I’ve had on my mind as “a thing to try” since 2020 and seeing the results, I’m sorry I didn’t get around to it sooner.
I’ve got three new pendants in the store; available with or without a chain. A classic skull in a clean, open-back bezel setting, a good dog with a distance halo, set in a sterling silver hug and a chalcedony skull cameo in a carving made in wax and cast using the lost-wax method.
I feel like stone carving is still something I am only occasionally able to give my time to, but I’ve created a gallery and it’s bigger than I expected.
